A Place At Home was co-founded in 2012 by two childhood friends, Dustin Distefano and Jerod Evanich in Omaha, Nebraska. After several attempts at finding acceptable care for their loved ones, they were unable to meet their needs at the standard they expected. Management is very supportive and attentive to the needs of staff. The hardest part of the job is the travel time during the cold winter months where harsh road conditions can be a barrier. The job required a great deal of travel between clients place of residency. The most enjoyable part of the job was the sense of accomplishment at the end of each day in helping others to accomplish their daily goals.
