For what it's worth, Love's gives us the worst fuel mileage in our commercial rig. We loose anywhere from 1/2 mpg to 1 mpg when we fuel at Love's. Needless to say, we haven't fueled there in about 4 years. Of all the major truck stops (TA & Petro and Pilot & FJ), Pilot & FJ give us the best mileage. TA & Petro are in between.

Is Loves diesel cheaper than Flying J?

A /little over a month ago, Loves had diesel in Hutchins, TX for about $.15/ gallon lower than Flying J. On the way back from Death Valley, we stopped at Flying J in east El Paso and it was all tore up under construction. Went across the street to Loves and purchased fuel for $.07/ gallon cheaper. Flying J is no longer a bargain.
