Can you play MLB The Show franchise online?
For the second year in a row, MLB The Show does not offer the ability to play Franchise mode online. This, unfortunately, means you can not play a franchise with multiple people online. While it's one of the community's most requested features, I believe we're starting to understand why it hasn't been implemented.

Will MLB 22 have online franchise?
This MLB THE SHOW 22 online franchise will begin on Monday 05/15/22. We will begin our journey of a full 162 game full season playing every day and will continue to do so through out the year.

MLB The Show 22 will, in a series first, offer competitive, cooperative online multiplayer, meaning teams of two or three friends can divide up the on-field duties and take on other teams of two or three. Friend 1 may pitch, with Friend 2 playing middle infield and/or Friend 3 taking right field.

Fixing co-op in MLB The Show 22 The top reason that co-op could be experiencing issues is that the servers for MLB The Show 22 are down. The developers will often take the servers down for maintenance reasons, which could line up with when players are attempting to join a co-op game session.

You can either join with one friend and one random, or you can do a full friend game — or anything in between. SDS showed off the mode similar to an offline “play now” game where you pick from the real MLB teams, then pick your pitcher, and then set your lineup.
