Once you are scrolling through the positions, you will see that many positions will only require 11, 7 and 3 points to fully scout as opposed to the 15, 10, and 5.
Expert Scouting Coach Package
If you are playing the Franchise mode as a head coach, you should get the Expert Scouting Coach Package. With this, the coach is going to be getting extra experience points when completing goals throughout the season. What the package does is increase the number of weekly scouting points to 200 from the previous 175.
Choose What is Best for You
The scouting screen contains the breakdown of both offenses and defenses of the positions. This will give you a brief idea of where your weaknesses are and where you should put more focus on when scouting.
Draft Board
Drafting prospects can make the drafting screen seem a little overwhelming. So you should use the Draft Board to make things simpler. If you think you have a player that you think is good to be drafted, press Y and this player will move to your draft board.
Know the Value of Your Picks
During the first round, you should try to get immediate starters players that can contribute to the team immediately. The second round should follow the same logic, but you should be a little lenient so that you don’t push the players to start right away, but contribute in the future.
